Making progress!
Got a message from my PCP, who told me to call the appointment desk myself and get scheduled to see the vascular surgeon. I have now done that. I’ll see him next Tuesday morning at the downtown campus.
As always, I have no idea what will come of it — he’ll either take a “wait and see” attitude, or he might schedule me for immediate surgery, or something in between. I don’t know. I do know my tendency to fear the worst, so I’ll be taking extra effort to just stay focused on what’s in front of me to do.
All my kids are traveling to Arizona this weekend (leaving tonight) for their grandfather’s funeral or whatever they have planned, and I don’t know when they will return, so I don’t know if any of them will be available in case the dr. calls for immediate surgery on Tuesday. I strongly doubt that that would happen, but having all my relatives out of town sort of puts me on edge. UGH!
Anyway, onward into the day. Took my insulin shot, had a good breakfast, and now just letting it settle into my system for a few minutes. Then I will put some yarns into the soaker and see if I can remember how to dye yarn. Wheee!
