Getting in the groove
Okay, so apparently 4:00a.m. is my time to check my blood glucose. <*sigh*> But ONLY because I didn’t sleep well and I’m up early. Anyway, this morning it was 144, so it’s getting better. Or at least heading in the right direction.
I would love to go to bed around 10:00p.m. and get up around 6:00a.m. It’s a struggle for me, but I keep thinking if I maintain a regular bed time I might eventually get a regular schedule for waking up. Maybe. Maybe not.
In other news, I started reading “A Warning”, by Anonymous, a senior Trump Administration official. Wow, I knew the White House was crazy, but reading it in black and white it is even crazier. I’ve worked in chaotic environments where the guy at the top was unpredictable and kept subordinates on edge. Reading the chaos in the White House makes my experiences seem like a walk in the park. Wow.
BigBoy spent the night inside. Each time I got up to pee, he was comfortably hunkered down under the coffee table — yes, I just ‘had’ to check, to be sure he wasn’t waiting by the door to go out. He isn’t particularly vocal, and isn’t very loud at all (unlike Two-ie). Under the table has apparently become “his” spot. I think he might be scared of the ceiling fan, since he often glances up and sort of cowers under it. Hiding under the table he doesn’t have to see it spinning over him, I guess. I wonder if I put a towel or something under the table he might appreciate it…?
Okay, nearly noon now. Feeling surprising mostly well even in the belly-gut area. Tackling the last of the yarn prep for the big custom job. The new dyes arrived, so I’ve got all that I need for dyeing things. Yayy.
Onward into the rest of the day!
