Yeah, yeah…   I’ve been away too long.  I’m sorry.

Over on Facebook I’ve been doing a new series, “Weekday Words”.   I realized I can’t always control the volume of negativity that comes up in my feed, but I can control how much I contribute to that negativity.  Much of the negativity stems from the ease (and anonymity) with which people can write ugly words, clicking emoticons/emojis or posting harmful images.   Taking the time to hand-write a note encourages a more thoughtful message.  Restricting it to the space of a single page of note paper keeps it concise.

I managed to keep it up all of last week, using a steno pad.  I bought a nicer pad of writing paper this week.  🙂
