Lots of things going on, just nothing in particular to sit and write about.   I have more doctor visits coming around that may (or may not) narrow down all the different ways I may (or may not) be dying.   🙂

Marriage equality is spreading across the country, with Oregon and Pennsylvania joining the fold.   As of this week, North Dakota is the ONLY state remaining in which a suit has not been filed to challenge their ban on same-sex marriage.   i cannot imagine the trend reversing, and within a few years everybody will be able to marry the person of their choice in the United States.

Next week I have a good friend and one of her friends coming to visit, so I’m investing energies toward making the house at least presentable.

and I keep thinking I need to start doing videos — editorials — about various news bits.  Maybe yes, maybe not.  I don’t have the facilities to make really fancy videos, with a bunch of cool screen shots of Web pages, etc.   That stuff takes time and talent and expertise and the right editing tools.   i would be rather boring just being myself talking into a camera, so i need to either have something useful to say, or find some other way of expressing myself.
