This word keeps coming up.  And I have a lot to say about it, since I suspect I have a different perspective from many people, which creates a problem in communication because even though we use the same word, we are using it in very different ways, with (I presume) very different and very subjective meanings.

But for now I’ll just leave it here and see what others want to say about “family”, if anything.  What does the word mean to you?
