Ray's Maple Syrup


  • 1 quart bottle dark corn syrup.
  • 1 pound dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon maple extract or maple flavoring

Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan, bring quickly to boil, stirring constantly. Allow to simmer 5 minutes while stirring.

Let cool slightly, turn into syrup dispenser, or sealed container. Refrigerate unused portions.
