Okay, so the clinic appointment desk called me a little while ago. Before I can discuss surgery for the aorta, they need to do more tests. Like a fasting lipid panel, which has to be done 2-3 days before the CT scan and the heart stress test, which has to be all done before surgery can be scheduled.

So, now I have a date blocked out to do the fasting blood work. And then another date on the calendar for the CT Scan and stress test. And then in the middle of this process I have the colonoscopy to explore why my intestinal tract has been so fucked up. And then (I hope) I’ll be having surgery on the aorta. All in January. Oy!

But, having these dates marked on the calendar is better than a nebulous undefined ‘someday’ in the future. So I guess I’ll take it. So, I have now through the next 10 days to sit on my ass twiddling my thumbs. And then busy busy busy for a while. Oy!
