Adventures in being Ray
Well awwwwrighty, then!
Learning more about what to eat, and when, I realized most of my normal groceries weren’t right for mid-meal snacking, so I wanted to go to Kroger and get the things that I should have or could have for snacks. My daughter’s mother-in-law offered to take me, since she had to get some things as well.
I started feeling a little faint and weak in my legs, but I wasn’t in pain or anything at all like last week. But my debit card was rejected. WTH??? Tried three times. Finally Debra said she’d pay and we’d go to the bank and clear it up (one advantage to banking with the same small bank forEVER and you know all the people who work there, which Debra does). Apparently my Big Shopping last week using this card (because my other debit card was compromised) cause my bank to red-flag this debit card. So I was able to clear that up, get some money to pay Debra back, and get a little extra for tomorrow when I go to clinic.
And when I finally got my groceries home I discovered my bananas at the BOTTOM of the bag, under all the other heavy stuff. <*sigh*>
Oh well, it’s done and I’m home. Now I need to reschedule a couple clinic appointments for next week or soon. Wish me luck!
