I’ve heard it before, so many times:  “I studied evolution and it’s full of holes.”

And I say, “Bullshit.”

The only way to study evolution and think it is full of holes is if you studied “about” evolution at the hands of religionists who tell you what they think evolution teaches (mostly strawman arguments) and then fill your head with bullshit from the bible to show why evolution “can’t” be true.

Quite plainly, if you reject the theory of evolution, you are being deliberately ignorant and foolish, and I refuse to respect your opinion on the matter because your opinion is not based on reality or facts.

Evolution is a fact of reality, and the Theory of Evolution is the massive body of explanations how evolution works.  You simply don’t get to decide if you like it or not, or if it fits with your religion or not.  It doesn’t matter.  Reality trumps superstition, every time; you either accept reality, or you live in denial.  There simply is no equivalent explanation for life as we know it, no alternate theory.
