I have known for many years there is something morally corrupt about the Roman Catholic Church, but now it comes clear just how far afield they have been.   According to this article:  Dangerous arrogance: the Catholic Church must stop dehumanizing atheists by saying we are not fully human, it has been their teaching that only those in their definition of a relationship with their God is “fully human”.

They get away with this by playing with words and declaring that to be “fully human” requires a relationship with God.   But it’s not just any God — it has to be their version of God, because they also reject other religions and traditions.  That’s why they go out into the world establishing missions and trying to convert people to their faith. Just one example, this is from Pope John Paul II:

“A culture which rejects God cannot be considered fully human, because it excludes from its vision the One who has created man in his own image and likeness, has redeemed him through the work of Christ, and has consecrated him with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.”

Isn’t that just special!    It’s BULLSHIT!   Who the fuck are they to pretend they get to define God for everybody else, and to declare what it means to be human?   They are making it all up.  But they even include it in their educational system:

“The school’s program must concern itself with the whole child in development that is fully human and thoroughly Catholic.”

More bullshit.  It is not true.

All religion (including yours) is just man-made imaginary fantasy.  There is no real evidence a god (any god) exists.

To be fully human, in my mind, means to stop pretending there is “something else” and stop investing your time and energy into something that isn’t there.
